The missionaries could tell you how long Pres. Pratt has been looking for a moose (nearly a year). Finally, finally we spotted not one, but 3, moose on our way to the Gander Airport. Check that one off the bucket list!

One of the most exciting events that has taken place recently was the visit by Elder Bennett (1st Quorum of the Seventy) and Sister Bennett. They travel so much, that it must be exhausting, but there was no indication of that--the Bennetts spent hours training us (right up until the moment they had to leave). The missionaries love to learn and are like sponges, soaking up all they can. They truly enjoyed the wisdom, insight and correction they received during that visit. We are always astonished at their willingness and eagerness to improve. In fact, the Bennett's praised the obedience and work ethic of our missionaries and their willingness to serve.
It seems it's only getting harder to say goodbye to the departing missionaries. It nearly breaks our heart to send them back home. It's such a blessing to be forming these close relationships, and we look forward to seeing the places they will go. It's a wonderful day when our new missionaries arrive. It's so fun to meet them. They are all so remarkable. We are grateful to you parents for sharing them with us. Our lovely Sister Hull, one of the best teachers in the mission, has completed her mission. She is already being missed, but she is going on to BYUI. We wish her the best! |
