First Zone Conference of the year, and it was great. Hope you enjoy this wonderful pics of our missionaries--they love to ham it up!
Had a great Zone Conference. Lots of good training from the missionaries including introduction of our new working with members initiative titled "Gatoraid." The meaning of Gatoraid--gator as investigator and aid as in missionaries training members to aid them in missionary work by finding investigators. The missionaries and members seem excited about this new initiative. We had both Nova Scotia zones at the zone training last week. The leaders of each zone provided the training and did a fabulous job. We missionaries love to get together and learn from each other. We had a wonderful Christmas devotional to help us celebrate Christ's birth. Our morning was spent listening to talks, singing carols, and being amazed by special musical numbers. The missionaries are remarkably talented. Our afternoon was spent exchanging gifts and sharing other unique talents (you'll have to ask your missionary about that). We are always amazed at how much the missionaries love getting together for our zone conferences. We had another great conference in Nova Scotia in November. Had a wonderful Sabbath Day visiting the Sackville Ward on Sunday. We were able to see Elder Ray (r) and Elder Wolvers (l) who have been working diligently to bless the area. What a remarkable ward–very kind and welcoming members. Enjoyed so much meeting all of them and spending some time at the home of Bishop and Sister Johnson.
Awwww the waterfront in Dartmouth on Canada Day :-)
Such a beautiful day if only we didn’t have to dodge all these people? But wait Sister Mangelson and Sister Pierce have a good idea let’s street contact -- |
