Great zone conference at the Lion's club in Newfoundland. The senior couples provide the lunch which we appreciate greatly and which goes above and beyond their expected service. The number of pictures we get at zone conferences varies depending on the time we have and whether a missionary has borrowed my camera.

We enjoyed the visit of the Sonkens who traveled with us to all the zone conferences and gave a health presentation. This is their picture at the Gander Aviation Museum in Newfoundland.
We got a couple of candid shots at our New Brunswick zone conference. We had a great conference, also got our black boxes for our cars, and got some health training by the Sonkens, our area medical advisors.
We moved our zone conferences around a bit this time so we had our Nova Scotia Zone conference first. This was so all missionaries could get black boxes installed in their cars. I am sure you probably heard about this--the missionaries aren't thrilled about it (the device gives Pres. a weekly report about who had any speeding or safety violations). Really, though, they have taken it all in stride. And, the devices are great because they are making your missionaries safer.
Our Area Medical Advisor and his wife (the Sonkens) also visited these zone conferences to give us some health tips. Thanks to them for their service--they just returned home. Yes, parents, I know I am getting behind again! But, I hope to get caught back up soon. These are the amazing departing missionaries that left us in April. Definitely a great group--some of our very strongest. We miss them greatly, but I know you are happy they are back home. They served well and touched the lives of all they met.
